Why This Matters
Photography Prints
That Protect Our Wild Spaces
As a published freelance artist and volunteer trail maintenance worker, I’ve spent countless hours traveling and caring for the breathtaking landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. From misty forests to sunlit mountain trails, these magical scenes inspire my art—and now, they can inspire your home.
Yet, these magical landscapes are more than just inspiration—they are sacred spaces that need protecting. With my charity-based photography project, I’m transforming these moments into stunning art prints to help preserve the outdoor spaces we all cherish. Every purchase directly supports the Pacific Crest Trail Association, funding vital conservation, trail maintenance, and educational programs to ensure these iconic wild spaces are preserved for generations to come.
Let these prints bring the beauty of nature into your home while
giving back to the trails that make these moments possible.

This project is more than photography;
it’s storytelling with a purpose.
Every image was captured during or after trail maintenance projects, aiming to minimize my environmental impact while amplifying the message of conservation.
Meet the Artist & Trail Worker
My name is Alexandra Hagel, and I’m the artist, storyteller, and conservationist behind PNW Fairy. My passion for preserving nature comes from a lifelong love of wild spaces, where every trail tells a story, and every forest feels like stepping into a fairytale.
As a self-portrait and nature photographer, I aim to blend whimsy, beauty, and purpose. Each photograph I create carries a piece of the magic I’ve experienced while working to protect these natural areas. Whether it’s capturing a golden-lit sunrise in a national park, or a quiet lake reflection near scenic wilderness, I hope my art inspires you to appreciate and protect the landscapes we all share.
This project is rooted in a deep love for storytelling, fairytales, and the outdoors. It’s my way of giving back—to the trails, the forests, and the people who make conservation possible. This isn’t just about art—it’s about making a difference. 💜
Through your support, we’re not only celebrating the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, but we’re also actively protecting it. Thank you for joining me on this journey to celebrate and protect the wilderness that inspires us all.
